Zone01 Oujda guide
Selection & the Piscine
The five steps (from the official platform)
- Register online on learn.zone01oujda.ma.[1]
- Play the games: online cognitive games of about 90 minutes that test memory and logical thinking. If the result isn’t successful, you have two more tries.[1]
- Attend a check-in event: candidates with a good score are invited by email to a meeting that presents Zone01 Oujda and its facilities.[1]
- Make it through the Piscine (“the Pool”): a four-week immersive challenge on site in Oujda.[1]
- Start the training at Zone01 Oujda.[1]
What the Piscine is
Zone01 Oujda describes the Piscine as a four-week, intense selection process where you work on projects; it decides eligibility for the 24-month programme and the job contract.[2] One regional news article describes it as 26 days on site.[4]
Zone01 Dakar, which uses the same 01Edu model, describes its Piscine in more detail: group projects across the four weeks, a test every Friday to check individual progress, and weekend team projects. It also notes that the name means “jumping in at the deep end” — there is no swimming.[3] Details may differ between campuses.
Requirements and cost
- No prior coding experience or degree is required, and there are no tuition fees.[2]
- Zone01 Dakar states that applicants must be over 18 and that both the tests and the Piscine are free.[3] Check the Oujda platform for its own conditions.
Dates
Piscine dates are announced by Zone01 Oujda on its platform and social channels. This guide doesn’t list dates, so it can’t go out of date — check learn.zone01oujda.ma.
